I arrived in New York Summer 2017 for a new family adventure and i had the chance to enrich it with a new career adventure. professionnelle.
After 20 years in Paris being a directrice financière de projets culturels ( festivals, orchestra..) i leanred that i wanted to change my job and in a radical way . I learned the art of tapissier. L’été 2017 j’étais prête à quitter l’orchestre pour me lancer et c’est finalement à New York que ce projet s’est concrétisé.
I brought back from France des carcasses de chaises,all my tools and cloths. Since, i work on my collection of repaired plaids and seatings. I always lovedes tissus et travailler de mes mains.
I love to mix the classic structure of a seat with a colored cloth qui surprend car contemporain ou venant d’une autre tradition (Chine, Guatemala,….).
